Using windows 7 with the intel xp drivers offered on this site. I am not sure why that link says you need to connect 865hlc.

You can not post a blank message. The driver is shown in the device manager as “This device cannot 865gpc. Also, when I plug the speakers in, soundMax Control Panel says that there are headphones connected to the front panel headers but there arent any.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Jumpersiintel do not need to be connected in order for the rear audio ports to work. I checked bios to make sure onboard sound was enabled. The volume control from windows and soundMax shows that there is no problem with the sound, but my speakers don’t seem to be producing any sound.
